FAQs

Q: What Are Microgreens?
A: Microgreens are essentially vegetable greens that are harvested at an early stage. Research shows that the nutrient density in microgreens can be up to 9 times as much as the fully grown plant. Microgreens can add flavour and spice to your food and can be a great supplement to add to your diet.

Q: How often should I water my microgreens?
A:We recommend you only water the plants once a day, as the plant grows you may increase the amount of water used proportionately.

Q: Why do my microgreens look like microyellows?
A: The main reason your plants may be yellow or dull in colour is a lack of light, placing your greens under sunlight or a grow light should bring them right back to their beautiful colour.

Q: Can I harvest the same crop twice?
A: In Certain cases it is possible to have a second harvest, however we recommend single harvests as the leaves can be scarce, scraggly and the plant can lose flavor on the second harvest.

Q: How long will microgreens last?
A: Typically for our live unharvested 1020 trays you have about a week from first harvest to last, however if you don't get through them all they may last another two weeks harvested and refrigerated. Our packaged microgreens can last from 10 to 12 days in the fridge
